Job Description:


  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Investment Management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles, preferably within the renewable energy.
  • Professional English (Must)
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute financial and investment strategies that align with the company's vision and support sustainable growth.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating decentralized teams.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting systems implementations, ERPs, etc... will be considered favorable.


MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Lead corporate financing initiatives, including capital raising for DEVEX, CAPEX and M&A, debt restructuring, and strategic financial partnerships, to support the company's growth and financial objectives.
  • Deep knowledge in fiscality and companies/ SPV structures.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
  1. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
  2. Responsible to establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, including tax impacts and fiscal risks associated with the company’s operations. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with tax regulations and fiscal obligations.
  • Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to support growth initiatives and optimize capital allocation:
  1. Develop and implement the company's investment strategy in collaboration with relevant investment committees.
  2. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support investment decision-making processes, contributing to the successful execution of the investment strategy and portfolio management.
  3. Lead financial due diligence and valuation processes for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  4. Conduct thorough investment analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessments, to support investment decision making.
  • Deep knowledge of consolidation and IFRS, and valuation of projects under development.
  • Monitor and manage the company's portfolio, ensuring diversification, risk mitigation, and alignment with financial targets. Regularly assess the performance of existing investments and make recommendations for adjustments or divestments as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, maintaining strong relationships and providing accurate financial information.
  • Oversee financial activities in the company's international operating countries, while actively supporting expansion plans into new areas.
